Knowledge Makes You

Hi, how are you doing?

Today while I was seeing my patients, I was thinking about the fact that I’ve come to know so much over the years causing me to be able to deal with a cross section of medical problems.

Essentially I’ve become and I am a doctor now because of all the knowledge I acquired.

The only reason I am a doctor and you might not be one, is just down to the knowledge I have acquired.

A fundamental truth settled in my heart as I pondered on this and that is…..

KNOWLEDGE MAKES YOU….

Did you get that? It’s so key we all understand this, because I realised again with wonder in my heart and utmost awe that all that I am and all that you are is really, really tied down to what we have come to know over time.

Then I recalled that the most excellent knowledge anyone can and should attain is the knowledge of God, because to know him is to know you, because you were made like him.

The knowledge of God is eternal life. That’s what is originally called Zoe ( His life, his nature) . This comes by knowing God.

John 17:3
Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

To learn about God is to learn about you.

You and I are are sons and daughters of God by rebirth. Jesus is the firstborn.

The more you know about God and Jesus with the mindset that you are learning about your dad and your older brother, the more you become like them.

So if you and I want to be more like, act like, have results like, live like them we have to know and know and know, over and over again, who they are🙌.

Remember KNOWLEDGE MAKES YOU.

So let’s increase in the knowledge of God by increasing in the knowledge of His word. Let’s go for it, and stick with it and become fully all we are made to be!
