Hello, how have you been? How have the last few months been for you? No matter what’s happening or has happened, we can overcome with winning perspectives from the cross!.
Recently I was thinking about the value of what Jesus did for us and It was further reinforced in my heart that Jesus is the answer the world needs and he is the victory we have!.
As I was singing and making melody in my heart to the Lord while driving to work on a certain day, I saw the cross in my mind’s eye and I saw clearly the following perspectives well up inside that have continued to set me up to win always no matter what comes my way.
When I see the cross:
- I see no longer guilty – This is such a huge one for me. If you are someone who is accustomed to being a perfectionist and very self critical, you would find it beautiful to know that Jesus is not criticizing you. I can now live free of the pressure to be perfect because Jesus has made me perfect by taking my imperfections and giving me his perfection! yay!. 2Cor 5:21
- I see loved – The knowledge of the truth that nothing, absolutely nothing can separate me from God’s love is the foundation for my life! It is the rock upon which I have built my faith in every other promise. It is my boldness, my confidence, my assurance. I can literally look at the devil and say get out of my way! because I know who loves me and will never stop! Yay!. Rom 8 :35-39
- I see no more sickness – This is huge!!! I have for the last couple of years renewed my mind to the truth about what Jesus did at the cross regarding my healing. I have seen healing in my mind and my body. I have learnt my authority here! Thank you Jesus!. Isaiah 53:4,5
- I see death overcome – I really have no fear of death. I know once we are done here, i’ll be with Jesus immediately. Wow!, death has no power of us! Hebrews 2:15
- I see forgiveness – No matter what happens, i know i can always come boldly to the throne of grace and obtain grace and mercy! I have learnt his grace is superabundant and i receive grace a lot! I just love Jesus. Rom 5:17
- I see light – Everytime I stay in the word, i gain clarity, everytime i stay in the word i see the truth and i see clearly, he is literally a lamp to my feet and a lamp to my path. Psalm 119:105
- I see purpose for life – He made the way back to Abba God clear, now I can be with God always and I can be all he made me for. Now I know I am alive to display his glory and to love people and be a blessing. Now I know I am a valuable member of his family. Now I know I am his ambassador. 2Cor 5:17-20
- I see reason for joy – I always have a reason to be glad. Where do i start from? Is it being God’s daughter, is it his unending love? Is it his promises, his reality, his spirit within me, my faith, my hope, his love!! oh! so much to be glad about!. Phil 4:4
- I see protection – The thought that I have got angels hearkening to his word concerning me is awesome. I know they fight for me. My Father God is the Lord of heavens armies! Heb 1:13,14
- I see prosperity – The word says he was poor that I may be made rich. I can always lay hold on this promise and indeed I have and I have seen provision that only he could have made happen. 2Cor 8:9
- I see peace – I have so much to say about peace, but with Jesus, its peace all the way for me. He gives me a reason why I can always be at peace and not let my heart be troubled. The scriptures just keep coming to the surface those moments when your heart would attempt to be troubled but once my mind is on him, he keeps me in perfect peace. Isa 26:3
- I see justice – Abba is the faithful judge and he does not let any injustice or oppression happen without due punishment. However he is the judge who is full of mercy. The bible says he is the God of mercies. With Jesus on the cross that was “Justice with Mercy”. Justice by causing the payment for sin to happen but in his son, and mercy allowing his son and not us go through that. Psa 98:9
Halleluyah!!!!!!!!!!!! woohoo!!!!!!!! Thank you Jesus!!!!.
Once we have our gaze on him, We are settled. Anytime I find myself thinking thoughts that try to take my joy, I switch the image and realign my perspective to one of the winning perspectives.
With these perspectives assured by the cross, there’s nothing we cannot overcome!.
My prayer is that we would all see the reality of Jesus in these capacities and in every aspect of our lives in the name of Jesus!
What winning perspectives have helped you? Do any of these resonate with you? Do let me know, thank you so much.
